Clients ask me why they should travel to Egypt when there are so many other interesting places to visit? No other country in the world can be compared to Egypt. It is a spectacularly beautiful landscape filled with cultural gems. Travelers are enchanted because of its rich culture dating from 3500 BC making it one of the oldest civilizations in the world. Whether it is the ancient pyramids, temples or the tombs of the Great Pharaohs of Giza (one of the Seven Wonders of the World) these sites are stunning. Egypt is a fairytale for architecture and art lovers. This is why travel to Egypt is so attractive. The future looks bright for travel to Egypt. I am so excited to be planning an Egyptian river cruise in the coming year.

Here are three reasons to consider planning your dream vacation to Egypt:
An Egyptian Vacation is Very Affordable One of the biggest concerns with traveling to any destination is the cost. Airfare is often a major expense. However, surprisingly, booking a trip to Egypt is actually relatively affordable. There are a variety of attractions and travel accommodations that can easily accommodate any budget. Compared to other popular destinations, you’ll find the price of a luxury hotel in Egypt to be much more reasonable than in cities like Paris or Rome. You can even enjoy luxury activities such as a hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings in Luxor or scuba diving in the Red Sea area and they are surprising reasonable compared to other areas of the world.
Egypt Has the Perfect for Year-Round Travel Unlike the harsh, cold temperatures most of us are used to during the winter months, Egypt maintains relatively warm weather all year round. This means that even during the winter months, not a day will go by where the temperatures will drop below freezing. On average, the winter months see temperatures in the 50s, making it the perfect weather to explore the tombs scattered between the desert sands and towering pyramids. In fact, November through April are the preferred months of travel. However, if you are unable to travel during the winter months this is no problem. Between May and October travelers make use of the early morning cool temperatures to see much of the area without the heat and head to the beach in the afternoon. Egypt is truly one of the few places in the world that is good to visit at any time of year.
Egypt has a Rich History Egypt has so much to offer! One of the biggest reasons that tourists make the journey to Egypt is to experience the preservation of its rich history. The majority of visitors are interested in the history of ancient Egypt, the Pharaohs, the Pyramids, King Tutankhamun, Queen Cleopatra, and Alexander the Great. You will marvel at the gilded treasures of King Tutankhamun and the Great Pyramids at Giza. Egypt’s history can be traced to 3500 B.C. It is incredible to see how much the country has progressed from the building of the first pyramid in the third dynasty to the Rosetta Stone in 196 B. C., the conquering of Egypt by Arabs in 642, and the invasion by Napoleon in 1798, Egypt’s history seems endless. Even today new tombs are found, making your travel experience dynamic. The best part of Egypt’s history is that you can actually see all the archaeological remains for yourself. A visit to Egypt must include a stop at the sprawling capital of Cairo where the old and new have been welded together over centuries. Explore the magnificent destinations along the Nile River, the longest river in the world as you sail from Luxor to Aswan and visit the fantastic sites along the river. A desert safari into the Sahara is a stunning experience. The beaches in Egypt are fabulous with exquisite turquoise waters. The food is delicious in Egypt. No matter where you travel, you’ll be awed by the history of the people, places, and culture of this ancient country.
